Oleg Bizyaev
On July 9, 2004, Oleg
Bizyaev was delivered at one of Boston's hospitals unconscious and
with severe head injuries. Since then, he started breathing on his own, but still remains
in coma.
His mother, Aleksandra Mihailovna,
and his brother, Vadim, who are
his only family, urgently arrived to Boston.
Oleg Bizyaev was born in
1976 in Ukraine.
He lived in Odesa since he was very little.
He finished high school and became a student
at the Physics Department of Odesa State University
in 1993 . He was the top student of his class
and graduated in 1998 with highest distinctions
(Red Diploma).
He continued his education at the MA in Economics
program at the Economics Education and Research
Consortium at the National University
Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
In 2000, Oleg graduated with a 'Master of Arts' degree
and became a Ph.D. student in Economics at Boston College
where he has taken the great interest
in the fields
of international trade and industrial organization.
Oleg has been a good friend and an open
person,
always fascinated by any chance to meet new
people.
